Dave is a founding member of The Thoroughbred Bloggers Alliance who after working full-time in the horse racing industry (for the ADW, TwinSpires.com, 2007-2012), started his own Production Company out of SF, CA (www.rabbiwhere.com). In 1998, Dave "officially" became just your average, avid horseplayer who has since graduated from passive participant to hopeful, passionate advocate for the sport he believes has the infinite potential to thrive in the years to come.

Thanks for putting up the link. Is Ms. DiStefano a popular area writer? It's great that the TBA is making great strives in getting some type of media recognition, however, "general" articles that promote the sport and introduce it to new spectators are needed in the written media as well.
It's funny you ask. Ms. Distefano writes for the Porltand Tribune which comes out twice weekly and is free. The main newspaper here in town is the Oregonian (not free/daily). The trib is def. the 2nd most read/respected paper here in town. Ms. Distefano is actually the "Weekend/Nightlife" reporter which I find kind of interesting..She usually writes about what's going on in the nightlife scene around town.
Def. a good piece for racing in general, especially PM which doesn't get much media attention locally.
