What a day....
And this story just continues to get better.....

In 1998, Dave "officially" became just your average, avid horseplayer who has since graduated from passive participant to hopeful, passionate advocate for the sport he believes has the infinite potential to thrive in the years to come.

Dude! West Coast Weather, baby! It's 75 in SF, and FAAAAB-U-LESSSS.
Right now (3:27 Fri) the sun is shinhing so bright I can't see the temp posted on the bank across the street!!
Nice! You hittin' the track tomorrow during this stretch of sunny days?
I can usually tell when you've been out by the spike in the handle. For instance, I know you were at the track on Sunday 2/5 and showed up late, between the 4th & 5th races. On the 4th race there was ~$1,800 in the wps pool, but then for the 5th, BOOM, over $5k! Cheggit: http://www.equibase.com/premium/eqbPDFChartIndex.cfm?TID=PM&CTRY=USA&DAY=D&DT=02/05/2006&STYLE=EQB
I think you mean between the 3rd and 4th. Nice call though overall.
If you check out the 5th race, you will see why PM can really suck.
In a 7-horse field, a $92 horse comes in to win with the 3rd choice in second and the $2 exacta only pays $129.60
