11:36 am: Finally made it out of the hotel and into historic Churchill Downs here in Louisville. Here's a pic of Gate 10 -people waiting to get in when the gates opened at 11 am.





Being a lowly blogger means things most likely aren't going to work out anything like you originally expected. But that's ok for me, I like living life that way! It took a private, personal escort for me to finally make my way into Churchill's absolutely gorgeous Joe Hirsch Media Center. I walked with Ted, only in his second stint at CD, through some hallways, up an elevator and wound up here:



Currently I'm sitting at Marcus Armytage's seat. Turns out Marcus is from The Daily Telegraph. Marcus has a nice seat up near the front of the room. Thanks, Marcus.
