*BC Promotional Budget and ESPN Execution (discussion/exploration)
10 minutes with:
Greg Avioli
Dwight Manley
an ESPN VP (whoever replaced Mark Shapiro)

I noticed two BC commercials tonight on ESPN. The first at about 8:35pm (pdt), and another a few minutes after the World Series game ended. Not such a bad showing, except for the fact that I am not sure if I'll ever get over the fact that people are not gravitiating towards the current stars of promotions and advertising- the horses. To the non-fan, when you show pictures of horse racing, they are non-descript, all looking exactly the same as any other horse people have ever seen. Everyday I am involved in this business seems like another day I become more sure that the future stars in this sport are the humans, not the animals.
