Well, it's time to call it an official first day here in Louisville. Every second I am in this city, my adoration for the people and place grows ten-fold. I never realized how great of a sports town Louisville actually is. With major music venues attracting most top (or at least interesting) bands, I would seriously consider a move here if the right opportunity to make a living happened to arise. Mom, I think I'm falling in love.
To officially end the day, I ventured downtown where I capped the day off with a visit to The Seelbach bar/restaurant located inside the Seelbach Hilton. I felt it was my duty to support some of the proud sponsors who support our great sport.
Ending the day with a bit of Woodford Reserve on the rocks seemed like a fitting closing act to an amazing 1st day - I felt it was my duty.
